Help us advocate for bicycling improvements!
Sign-up to volunteer at one of our upcoming advocacy events where we will engage with communities, give out some freebies, share our advocacy efforts, and ask people to show their support of protected bikeways by signing postcards. You'll receive a free t-shirt, and directly help us reach our goal of 30 miles of protected bikeways in Minneapolis by 2020!
It's Open Streets season! We need volunteers to make this year another great success! We'll have our brand new Pop-Up Protected Bikeway at each event. We're looking for folks to help set up the pop-up demonstration, talk with people about protected bikeways, and tear down at the end of these fun events! Come and spend a couple of hours with us at any or all of them - click here to sign-up!
What a wonderful day to spend at the Midtown Farmers Market! Fall is crawling in and we can't wait to connect with all of the cyclists at the Midtown Farmers Market. Come help us table for a couple of hours at our tent and talk about protected bikeways!
The Twin Cities is a hub for amazing art and inspiring social justice movements. Join us as we bring the two together at the Twin Cities Social Justice Arts Festival! Art, films, dance, presentations, food, raffle prizes, silent auction, and more!
The Coalition will be there to promote biking as a healthy and eco-friendly mode of transportation. We'll also be continuing our work with Bikeways for Everyone and getting more protected bikeways in Minneapolis!
Help us celebrate the completion of the Minnehaha Avenue reconstruction! We will begin at Adam's Triangle for an hour and a half of tabling to encourage celebration-goers to sign postcards in support of Bikeways for Everyone.
Afterwards, there will be brief speeches by Commissioner McLaughlin and Council Member Johnson with a celebratory bike ride immediately to follow. You are welcome to join this bike ride up and down Minnehaha Avenue as we test out the newly reconstructed road!
The 11th Annual Green Gifts fair (sponsored by Do It Green! Minnesota) is taking place on Saturday, November 19. This is an excellent opportunity to engage with other eco-friendly-minded folks. The Coalition will be tabling alongside other "green" organizations and we would love for you to come table with us! Join us for a 3 hour shift and then wander the fair once you're done!
